Rain stick

Glue four paper rolls together. NOTE! If using a glue gun, then be sure to ask an adult for help as it will become hot.

Cover the paper rolls with felt sheets.

Cut out details such as belly and beak for the owls, attach the details and eyes.

Take a piece of aluminium foil, about 50 cm wide and fold it several times until you have a long piece that is about 1,5 cm wide.

Spin the pieces of foil around a stick to create spirals. Attach the spirals to each other by spinning them around.

Put the spirals into the rain stick.

Attach them with tape in both ends so that the spiral stretches through the whole stick. Cut out a circle in carton and glue it to the bottom of the stick.

Pour ironing beads into the rain stick.

Glue on a circle of carton on the top of the stick.

Done! Turn the rain stick around slowly to listen to the rain sound.
