Embroider a horse
- Time required: 30 timmar
- Steps: 10
- Difficulty: Average
Pull apart the inner and outer hoops.
Put the inner hoop under the preprinted embroidery fabric and press the outer hoop onto it.
Tighten the screw to keep the fabric taut. You can adjust the tension as you work to make it easier to find the holes in the fabric.
Cut off a piece of thread in the colour you want to start with. Thread through the needle and make a triple knot at the end of the thread. Start from the back of the fabric and thread through the holes of the fabric.
Pull the thread down diagonally and into the next hole.
Continue to sew up and down. Follow the colours of the fabric.
When you reach the end of the thread or want to change colours, tie the thread off on the back with a triple knot so it doesn’t come out.
Once you are done with the embroidery, you will then need to tidy up the back. Take a piece of thread and sew up and down along the edge of the fabric.
Pull the fabric together and tie off the threads.
